Sony Fantasy Festival

Sony asked us to create a social media campaign that would capture the imagination of people who share their passion for sound and music.
solution
Sony Fantasy Festival – a free, points based league game. The aim of the game was to assemble the ultimate, imaginary festival line-up and gain as many points as possible through the acts’ popularity in the real world (calculated by activity on Last.fm and through search data from Yahoo!). Players could create custom leagues, invite their friends and battle it out for festival supremacy. Prizes were given out regularly and included a whole host of Sony’s premium audio products. The 1st prize was a VIP experience to a top European music festival in 2010 for one winner and three of their friends.
