Last week, during its coverage of the FA Cup replay between Liverpool & Everton, ITV cut away to an ad break just before the end of added time, as the match was poised to go to penalties. Unfortunately, as millions of football fans up & down the country were being kept entertained by ads for Tic Tac and Volkswagen, Everton scored the only goal of the match and knocked out their old rivals.

ITV have already apologised for the incident and have claimed, perhaps unsurprisingly, that it was due to a technical fault. However Tic Tac, one of the brands whose ad was shown during the offending ad break, decided it wanted to make it up to football fans itself. And so, with some help from our friends at WCRS, Tic Tac have recreated the winning goal. Enjoy.
