Why Our Blog’s In The Pink
You may have noticed that we’ve just changed the colour of the side panels of the blog to the rather lovely pink that is one of our brand colours. The reason we’ve done this is quite a simple one: this month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and we’re just trying to do our little bit to raise awareness of this very worthwhile campaign.
There’s all sorts of things going on, organised by a whole host of charities, ranging from sponsored walks to a special fashion show. But things aren’t just happening offline: people are being encouraged to turn their Twitter profiles pink to support the campaign, Estee Lauder are using social networks to push the message out to the young, whilst there’s even a campaign to turn whole websites pink (a campaign which we were unaware of before we made the decision to do just that).
But of course it’s not just about awareness: none of these charities could survive without donations, so why not buy some clothes or just give some money. Whatever you do, just do it in pink And for those of you wondering about men in pink, I would point you in the direction of that philosopher for our times, Mr Jude Law:
If you ooze masculinity, like some of us do, you have no reason to fear pink.
