Midas Losing Its Touch?

I read in one of the free London evening papers yesterday that Virgin Radio DJs JK & Joel are hoping to buy The Midas Touch pub in Golden Square. Apparently it risks going out of business and the pair are asking their fans to donate money to allow them to buy it. Why is this of any relevance? Because we, like Virgin Radio, are right next to the pub and have found that it makes a handy place to grab a quick drink on a Friday night.

Unfortunately I can’t seem to find any mention of this campaign online, but I’m sure that if you tune into the JK & Joel show you’ll be able to find out how to help. After all, you wouldn’t want us to have to go straight home after work would you?

    it’s being turned into a cocktail bar, apparently…
    Nice thing is that it’s only £1/shot and £1.50 a pint at the moment!
