Cool Sites We Liked In 2007
Well, here it is; today is the last day in the office for most of us here at Altogether and so we thought that we’d put together a list of some of the sites that we’ve liked this year.
Sites that have made us laugh, cry, or just shake our heads. We’re looking forward to finding (& creating) loads more cool & interesting sites in 2008 (including some great updates to our own) & we hope that you’ll join us as we do. Please feel free to add your own favourite sites of the year in the comments.
Zune: Apple may have won the MP3 player wars with the iPod (and how could they not; it’s just so bloody brilliant) but we rather like this offering from the team at Zune. The site takes you to 6 different words, and is, in the words of one of the team here, ‘really cool’.
Pacemaker: A very new site (launched this week) it’s an online community for a portable DJing MP3 player. What’s not to like?
BBC iPlayer (Flash version): This version of the iPlayer is fast, easy to use and not tied to any particular machine or software. Makes paying the licence fee seem like an honour.
Arcade Fire - Neon Bible: Chungaiz wrote about this earlier in the year, and we still love it. Play with his hands, it’s worth it.
Earth Touch: I only wrote about this the other day, but it really is rather marvellous. Watch lions from the safety of your desktop.
Pensionbook: We like a cheap laugh as much as anyone, and this imagining of what Facebook might look like as its user base ages got a chuckle out of us.
There are obviously loads more, and we may indeed add some more throughout the day, but hopefully these will keep you amused till the Queen’s Speech at least!

Pensionbook is excellent…. fantastic link bait…
