28 Days Later Sequel To Use QR Codes (28 Days After We Wrote About It)

Back in August, Medwyn wrote about how he had been playing with QR codes (the widgets that allow mobiles to access large amounts of information).

And now, 28 days later, The Guardian reports that these codes are to be used in the UK for the first time to promote the DVD release of 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to 28 Days Later. You couldn’t make it up.

UPDATE: Contrary to the comment in the Guardian report about this being the first use of QR codes in the UK, our resident QR expert Medwyn has pointed out that rock magazine Kerrang have been doing this since the end of last year.
