We Love Mika Brzezinski
You’ve probably read about this already, but we just had to add that we love American newsreader Mika Brzezinski.
Disgusted by the fact that the ’story’ of Paris Hilton’s release from prison was being used as the lead story on a day when other stories included developments in Iraq, she attempts to stop this by ripping up, burning and finally shredding her script, all the time egged on by her co-presenters. Ultimately she fails, as one of the other newsreaders delivers the item. But we think that she deserves praise for her attempt to inject some much needed seriousness back into the media.
