It would add to his credibility! Nightclubs (low light, loud music) are very much less "usable" than, say, airports, but this isn't a failing! (Airports are no less "designed" than nightclubs though (Frutiger was designed for Charles de Gaulle), and a text-heavy, non-immersive, HTML-only design is a good solution for many sites.)
